o2mummy exists to distill the tension, structure, stillness, and presence of contemporary life into a tangible form that can be held in the hand.
Its point of departure lies in Japan's Shōwa-era tokusatsu. In particular, it draws from the sculptural philosophy of artist and sculptor Tohl Narita—a philosophy that stripped away ornament to reveal only essential form.
